1. Is ‘MasterCoach X’ an elearning course or something more than that?

MasterCoach X is an all-in-one toolkit designed to equip and distinguish you as a certified Workplace Coach. It comprises of 4 components–

[Course] The 10-module online Enterprise Coaching Programme which you can complete at your own pace.

[App] 24 months use of the MasterCoach App to coach others to grow and perform (*Renewal is at just $15 per month from the third year.)

[Certification] Receive the MasterCoach Enterprise Coach Certificate upon course completion, together with a Certification Badge which you can share with your friends and network on social media.

[Recognition] Affiliate Membership to the International Society for Coaching Psychology (ISCP) is accorded to you as a reward for successful course completion.

2. What is the MasterCoach App, and how can it support my coaching?

The MasterCoach App offers you a handy set of action tools to help your coachees achieve their growth and performance goals –

The Strengths Wheel allows you to create, brand and send a quick strengths assessment to your coachee, so that you can discover and activate his strengths in the pursuit of his coaching goal.

The CoachPad gives you access to ready coaching templates to steer your conversations, tag action items and pull up important client information easily while coaching.

The Dashboard gives you real-time updates on your coachees’ progress. It keeps track of all agreed actions and reminds your coachees to follow through on these actions.

Access a Library of 300 Coaching Questions, and be empowered to ‘coach like a pro’ in every coaching conversation.

3. Do I need to pay a subscription fee for the use of the MasterCoach App?

The MasterCoach X package comes bundled with 24 months use of the MasterCoach App. Renewal is at an affordable $15 per month from the third year.

The MasterCoach App runs on iOS, Android and Web Browser, and syncs across multiple devices – phones, tablets, laptops and computers.

You can use the app to coach any number of persons.

4. Can I just purchase the MasterCoach App and not the rest of the MasterCoach X package?

The MasterCoach App is bundled together with the MasterCoach X package, and is not sold as a separate item.

The MasterCoach X package comprises of key training content to onboard users on the effective use of the MasterCoach App. This includes a complete set of how-to videos on the technical use of each app feature, and a training module on the use of the app in the context of a coaching conversation. Existing users found these resources highly useful in learning to use the app effectively to coach others.

5. Do you have a refund policy?

After a user purchases MasterCoach X, several internal processes are triggered to – facilitate access to the online MasterCoach Enterprise Coaching Programme, and create a MasterCoach App account for the user. This will incur operational expenses and royalties at our end, and hence, while we would not be able to provide a full refund, a partial refund (*80% of the purchase price) can be facilitated for users who have not launched the course within 7 days from the purchase date.

6. What is the difference between MasterCoach Certification and ISCP Affiliate Membership?

The MasterCoach Enterprise Coach Certificate is issued by the MasterCoach Institute to all learners who successfully complete the online MasterCoach Enterprise Coaching Programme (ECP).

As the ECP has been accorded ‘Recognised Course’ status by the International Society for Coaching Psychology (ISCP), ISCP agrees to confer Affiliate Membership, without cost, to learners who have successfully completed the ECP. Learners will receive a membership application form via email after course completion, and they will complete and email this to ISCP to apply for their Affiliate Membership.

7. Not all coaching credentials are the same. How is ISCP different from other professional coaching bodies?

While most professional coaching bodies focus on credentialing persons working towards a career as a professional coach, the International Society for Coaching Psychology (ISCP) emphasizes on the application of coaching and the enhancement of performance in the workplace and in personal life.

MasterCoach X is created to grow leaders and managers into confident workplace coaches, and finds a natural and synergistic fit with the ISCP’s vision, mission and charter.

The MasterCoach Enterprise Coaching Programme, which is the elearning course component of MasterCoach X, is an ISCP Recognised Course. Our Programme is certified to provide Coaching Psychology curriculum for the continuing professional development and education of coaching psychology practitioners worldwide.

8. Once I complete the course, how will the MasterCoach Enterprise Coach Certificate and ISCP Affiliate Membership be sent to me?

Upon the successful completion of all 10 course modules AND the 8 Knowledge Checks (or quizzes) situated within the modules, you would be entitled to download your Certificate and Certification Badge from the main Course Menu Page, after logging into your account in the MasterCoach X website.

Free Affiliate Membership to the ISCP is accorded to you as a reward for completing the course. Download the application form from the main Course Menu Page, after logging into your account in the MasterCoach X website. Please email the completed form to the ISCP Secretariat directly (office@isfcp.info).

9. Can I pause the course at any time and come back to it later? Can I re-take the course after completing it?

Yes, you can pause the course at any time and continue later. The course is designed for you to learn at your preferred pace.

The entire course and its contents are also always available to you, and you are welcomed to access these even after you have completed the course.

In this way, the content, knowledge and insights found within the course will serve as a continuous resource to support your ongoing coaching success.

10. What is next after completing MasterCoach X? How can I grow to the next level of proficiency as a Workplace Coach?

Your MasterCoach Enterprise Coach certification is a great first milestone on your journey to becoming a confident and effective coach. We trust that completion of this course puts you on a helpful footing to decide on future coaching education options and perhaps even the pursuit of a professional coaching career!
